Yari Ready for 2027 Election Showdown, Says Performance Will Get Tinubu Re-elected

Former Governor of Zamfara State and recently appointed Director-General of the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council, Abdul’aziz Yari, says he is ready to commit fully to the party’s victory in the 2027 elections.

Speaking shortly after his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, Yari said the APC will be campaigning on a strong footing because it has delivered on its campaign promises.

Thronged by hordes of supporters, the APC chieftain expressed readiness to present its scorecard to the people and consolidate on its achievements post 2027.

Yari said the APC remained committed to delivering on the commitments it made to Nigerians during the 2023 presidential campaign, insisting that the party would continue to stand by its promises.

“Our party will continue to be the party to lead the country after President Tinubu’s second term,” Yari told supporters.

The APC had on Saturday announced a 223-member campaign council to be chaired by President Bola Tinubu, with VP Kashim Shettima and party chairman Nentawe Nentawe Yilwatda doubling as Vice Chairmen.
