Osun 2026: Governor Ademola Adeleke Votes in Ede, Alleges Plans to Compromise Process
EDE, OSUN — Accord Governorship candidate and incumbent Osun state Governor Ademola Adeleke has voted in his hometown—Ede.
Governor Adeleke, while speaking to journalists after casting his ballot, alleged that a certain police officer nicknamed “London” was brought in from Port Harcourt to disrupt the process in his town.
“They brought him to come and do a ratchet job, to destroy my town Ede so that people will not vote,” he alleged.
He called for the immediate intervention of the Inspector General of Police and the security agencies.
Governor Adeleke also said that there are plans to subvert the electoral process of voting, sorting, and collation from the polling units to the wards and local government levels. “The want to just take it all the way to the collation centre, and that is not acceptable. They must follow the rules, and that is why I am alerting people to watch out.”
He still expressed his confidence in winning the election.
