Two kidnapped victims have been rescued by members of the Nigerian armed forces under the Joint Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace (JTF-OPEP), in Plateau State, North Central
Their rescue followed search-and-rescue operations inducted across Plateau State.
The separate operations took place between Tuesday and Wednesday in the Bassa and Kanam Local Government Areas (LGAs), significantly disrupting criminal networks operating within the axis.
The Media Information Officer of the task force, Captain Chinonso Oteh, confirmed the rescue in an official statement released on Wednesday in Jos.
