The official closing rate was reported at ₦1,346.90/$, while the dollar traded within a range of about ₦1,342 to ₦1,348 during the previous official session.
This means the naira gained ₦1.14 from the prior rate of ₦1,347.63 and strengthened by about ₦11.12 week-on-week.
In the parallel market, the dollar was quoted around ₦1,405/$ in some reports, while other market updates placed buying and selling quotes closer to ₦1,415 and ₦1,428, respectively.
