U.S. diplomat Brandon Hudspeth has returned to Nigeria as the country’s consul general. He had previously served as the head of the political and economic section in Nigeria.
Before his return to Nigeria, Hudspeth was the Deputy Chief of Mission in Namibia.
According to an official statement by the U.S. Mission in Nigeria, “Consul General Hudspeth brings extensive global experience from postings in the Philippines, Mali, Cuba, and Afghanistan, as well as service in Washington at the Operations Center and the Bureau of African Affairs.”
He is expected to leverage on his vast experience and knowledge to deepen U.S. – Nigeria relations.
