Key Features in Apple’s New Foldable IPhone

The new phone features dual displays. The outer cover screen measures 5.4 inches (representing over 90% of the screen area of an iPhone 18 Pro). The main inner screen unfolds to a 7.6-inch matte display with a glare-reducing nano-texture finish.

Apple explains that the design is crafted from mirror-polished Grade 5 titanium and features IP68 water and dust resistance. It is Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever when fully opened.

The engineering is even more impressive, built with a custom 100-component hinge that minimizes the display crease to keep it perceptually flat.

And if you’re the type that worries about battery life and camera performance, then this new device is a game changer. Apple says its internal power and cameras are driven by its next-generation A20 Pro chip. The camera is a 48MP Dual Fusion setup supporting 4K120 fps recording in Dolby Vision.

Software and AI

The new iPhone deploys adaptive multitasking capabilities, meaning you can view two apps side-by-side or view two Safari windows concurrently. Its layout can also be adjusted to multiple modes.

The phone has its embedded Siri AI and Apple Intelligence to handle multi-app queries tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

The Apple iPhone Duo and 18 Pro are expected to have different price ranges depending on storage, with prices starting from $1,999 to $3,199.

It will be available for pre-orders from October 16 in star white and night sky color theme ranges.
