INEC 2027 List: Atiku and Tinubu Record Highest Ages Among 18 Presidential Candidates

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the final list of candidates for the 2027 Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The publication, signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, contains the names, ages, gender, and qualifications of the 18 presidential candidates and their running mates.

According to the list, Atiku Abubakar (ADC) is the oldest presidential candidate at 79 years old, followed closely by Bola Tinubu (APC), whose age is recorded as 74.

Meanwhile, the oldest vice presidential candidate is Rabiu Kabiru (running mate to PRP’s Donald Duke), who is 80 years old.

The 18 presidential candidates and their respective parties include:

1. Rufai Adekunle Omo-Aje – Action Alliance (AA)
2. Aliyu Abbas-Bin – Action Democratic Party (ADP)
3. ⁠Kabiru Yusuf – Action Peoples Party (APP)
4. ⁠Omoyele Sowore – African Action Congress (AAC)
5. ⁠Atiku Abubakar – African Democratic Congress (ADC)
6. ⁠Bola Ahmed Tinubu – All Progressives Congress (APC)
7. ⁠Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde – Allied Peoples Movement (APM)
8. ⁠Sunday Adenuga – Boot Party (BP)
9. ⁠Moses Olusoji Adebisi – Democratic Liberation Alliance (DLA)
10. ⁠Sunday Chibuzo Okereke – Labour Party (LP)
11. ⁠Ada Elizabeth Fredrick Okwori – National Democratic Party (NDP)
12. ⁠Nkem Esther Okereke – National Rescue Movement (NRM)
13. ⁠Peter Gregory Obi – New Democratic Congress (NDC)
14. ⁠Sandy Ojang Onor – Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
15. ⁠Donald Duke – Peoples Redemption Party (PRP)
