Technical Aid Corps: Nigeria Sends 18 Volunteers to Rwandan Universities

ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Federal Government, through the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), has officially deployed 18 professional volunteers to the Republic of Rwanda.

During an orientation and briefing session in Abuja, NTAC Director-General Yusuf Buba Yakub charged the departing academics to embody professionalism, humility, discipline, and unwavering commitment while representing the nation across various Rwandan universities.

Revitalizing Nigeria’s Foreign Policy

Speaking at the event, Buba Yakub extended his appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his renewed support and strategic focus on the Technical Aid Corps scheme.

This revitalized backing has enabled the consistent deployment of Nigerian specialists to host institutions across Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific regions.

“Since its establishment 38 years ago and its formal backing by an Act of the National Assembly in 1993, NTAC has remained a vital pillar of Nigeria’s soft-power diplomacy,” the Director-General remarked.
