Akume says Tinubu Refuses to Rig or Influence Elections

President Bola Tinubu’s hands-off approach to elections is the clearest proof that he wants to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy, says George Akume.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) shared these thoughts during a courtesy visit to the City Boy Movement headquarters in Abuja on Thursday.

Akume praised the President for letting electoral institutions do their jobs without political interference.

2027 Target of Mobilising 10 Million Youths

The Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Shoga Francis, promised massive grassroots backing for the administration.
Francis revealed a major drive to register 10 million young Nigerians across the 36 states, the FCT, and the diaspora.

The group aims to take its structure down to the ward and polling-unit levels. Francis noted that this massive network will talk directly to communities about government policies while building support for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
