Barcleona and Manchester have finally reached an agreement for the signing of World Cup winner Rodri.
According to exclusive reporting from football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old former Ballon d’Or winner will be a Barcelona player after a final package worth approximately €70 million to €75 million was accepted by City.
Rodri’s signing became a priority for Barcelona after the post World Cup injury of midfielder Frenkie de Jong who will be out for between 4-5 months.
The midfielder’s contract terms is fixed for 4-years and will make him a key figure in the midfield as they look towards challenging for the the elusive UEFA Champions League title since their 2015 win.
