Ferran Torres Baits Barcelona as PSG Circles
Spain’s 2026 World Cup hero Ferran Torres has broken his silence on a potential transfer to PSG, sending a clear message to FC Barcelona over his future.
The forward’s recent comments have fueled exit rumors as the French giants intensify their interest. Torres has demanded that the Catalan club prove how much they value him if they want to keep him at the Camp Nou.
Addressing the transfer links, the Spanish international took a firm stance on his contract situation and the interest from Paris.
“Barça needs to show that they love me, they can come negotiate, and in the end, everything will be discussed,” Torres stated. “Every time these teams (PSG) want you, it’s good. I have a contract, in the end, with Barça. It’s true that in football, you never know what might happen, but the good side is that since I have a contract, I can wait and decide for myself.”
Barcelona’s Attack in Transition
The contract standoff comes at a critical time for Barcelona’s front line. The club is actively trying to rebuild its attacking depth following the departure of veteran striker Robert Lewandowski to MLS side Chicago Fire.
While Barcelona management previously indicated that Torres needed to show his explicit commitment to the club, the player’s latest remarks throw the ball back into Barça’s court.
