Manchester United have agreed a £70 million deal with Brighton & Hove Albion for midfielder Carlos Baleba, featuring a structural package of £65 million guaranteed plus £5 million in add-ons.
According to Sky Sports, the breakthrough came on Friday evening after United’s initial £60 million plus £5 million add-ons package was rejected earlier in the week.
Brighton has also successfully negotiated a sell-on clause into the final agreement.
