Bamanga Tukur Laid to Rest

The remains of elder statesman Alhaji Bamanga Tukur have been interred in Yola, Adamawa State.

The final burial followed a funeral prayer conducted in accordance with Islamic rites at the Modibbo Adamawa Central Mosque, located within the Lamido’s Palace.

The burial drew a large crowd of mourners, including prominent figures from across Nigeria’s political and business landscapes, signaling the broad impact of the late leader.

Dignitaries Pay Final Respects

The atmosphere in Yola was deeply solemn as family members, friends, and political associates gathered to bid farewell to the business mogul and seasoned politician.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, who attended the funeral alongside other top government officials, described Tukur’s passing as an irreparable loss to Adamawa State, Nigeria, and the international community.

Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote was also in attendance, describing the late elder statesman as a monumental figure whose contributions to Nigeria’s economic and political growth remain invaluable.

The funeral procession conveyed Tukur’s remains to his family compound, where family members and sympathizers visibly grieved the loss of a man widely regarded as a pillar of both the corporate world and national politics.
