ARISE News has permanently banned political analyst Anthony Kila from its platform following an investigative report alleging that he falsified his entire academic credentials.

The television network’s Editorial Board announced the decision in an official disclaimer, stating that Kila will no longer appear on the ARISE News Channel effective immediately.

The decision follows a damning investigative report published by Premium Times, which accused Kila of forging his degrees. According to ARISE News, the network formally confronted Kila with the allegations on October 3, 2026.

Although Kila requested additional time to address the claims, ARISE News revealed that he failed to provide a response within 10 days. The network noted that during this period, the allegations against him intensified, making his continued role as a freelance analyst untenable.

In its statement, the ARISE News Editorial Board emphasized that it was entirely unaware of the credential fraud allegations when Kila was brought on as a contributor.

“We take matters of credibility and integrity extremely seriously,” the statement read. “We have noted the findings of the Premium Times investigation, and Mr. Kila will not be appearing on our networks at any time now or in the future.”
