Vincent Kompany Rushed to Hospital After Collapsing at Bayern Munich Training Ground
Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has been rushed to the hospital after collapsing following Friday’s training session at Säbener Straße.
According to reports from Sky Germany and BILD, an air ambulance rescue helicopter landed directly on Bayern Munich’s training pitch before the Belgian manager was transported by ambulance to a Munich hospital accompanied by an emergency doctor.
Vincent Kompany had already been battling health issues earlier in the week. He missed media and training duties ahead of the club’s Champions League match against Arsenal due to a severe viral infection that has reportedly caused painful complications with old scar tissue.
