The second half saw Spain seize control, and their pressure paid off in the 60th minute when substitute Álex Baena fired home the equalizer.
As England struggled to regain their footing, Spain dictated the tempo. Their dominance was rewarded in the 74th minute when a brilliant combination between substitutes Baena and Mikel Oyarzabal ended with the Real Sociedad man lofting a beautiful finish into the net.
