Osun Guber a Litmus For 2027 General Elections – IPAC

ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has demanded a level playing field for all political candidates ahead of the Osun State governorship election.

IPAC National Chairman, Yusuf Dantalle, made the call during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday. He called for equal opportunities to ensure a free, fair, and credible vote.

A Litmus Test for Democracy

Dantalle emphasized that the upcoming Osun poll is a critical litmus test for Nigeria’s electoral stakeholders. He noted that the conduct of umpire officials, security agencies, and political actors in Osun will chart the future course of the nation’s democracy.

IPAC urged all institutions involved in the electoral process to maintain strict neutrality and professionalism to protect the integrity of the ballot.
