INEC Displays Personal Particulars of 2027 Candidates in Abuja

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has officially published the personal particulars of political party candidates contesting the 2027 General Elections.

The public disclosure is in compliance with Section 29, Subsection 3 of the Electoral Act 2026.

This legal provision mandates the electoral body to publish the credentials of candidates within the specific constituencies they intend to contest.

Simultaneous Display Across Abuja Area Councils

Speaking on behalf of the FCT Resident Electoral Commissioner, the Administrative Secretary, Bimbo Oladunjoye, confirmed that the exercise is taking place simultaneously.

Members of the public can verify the details at the INEC FCT headquarters and all six Area Council offices.

According to Oladunjoye, the ongoing display covers candidates vying for:l Presidential election and National Assembly seats within the FCT

Oladunjoye further emphasized that the commission is systematically following its established schedule of activities.

She reassured the public that INEC remains fully on course to deliver a transparent, credible, and seamless voting process during the 2027 General Elections.
