Cote d’Ivoire international Yan Diomande has arrived at Real Madrid following his blockbuster move from Leipzig
The mega-deal makes Diomandé the most expensive African footballer of all time, with the total deal worth €125 million paid upfront to RB Leipzig.
The 19 year old’s contract is to run till June 2033 and could surpass Jude Bellingham as Madrid’s most expensive acquisition.
He joins other fresh arrivals such as Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries, and Carlos Espí snapped up by new coach José Mourinho since his arrival this summer.
