ABUJA, NIGERIA – The PDP says INEC’s publication of Senator Sandy Onor as its 2027 presidential candidate silences critics and crushes months of propaganda.
According to the party, INEC’s publication of its Presidential and National Assembly candidates
has cleared the air regarding its participation in the 2027 general elections.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed, the PDP confirmed that INEC’s official publication formally validates Senator Sandy Onor as the party’s 2027 presidential candidate, with Babangida Umar as his running mate.
The PDP spokesperson extended deep appreciation to party members and loyal supporters nationwide. He noted that their steadfastness and loyalty sustained the party through a long period of uncertainty, keeping faith alive during crucial rebuilding efforts.
